Job Description

We are looking for a full time Physiotherapist to work with us here in Port Pirie at the Thrive Health Centre commencing start of 2019 (negotiable).

Thrive Health Centre is a multi-disciplinary health practice, including psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, developmental education and physiotherapy. Our Physiotherapists work in a variety of areas including:

  • Musculoskeletal and sports
  • Paediatrics
  • Chronic pain
  • Vertigo, headaches and dizziness
  • Occupational physiotherapy (e.g. ergonomic and worksite assessment) and associated rehabilitation
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Pilates (Mat and Equipment)
  • Group classes

We also have a contract with a local aged care facility and offer home visits.

Our multi-disciplinary clinic includes a paediatric gym, 250sqm functional training centre, hydrotherapy pool, group training room, Pilate’s studio and 12 consult rooms. Opportunities to learn from other disciplines will be available.

You will be working with 5 other experienced Physiotherapists. Ideally you will have 2+ years experience but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

We encourage our team members to continue learning via weekly in-house professional development, support in clinic via our clinical staff and full time on-site clinical educator, structured 1 hour weekly supervision and via attending professional development courses. We provide a $1500 professional developmental allowance to assist our team members in accessing external courses.

Salary package $70-$120k depending upon experience.

Port Pirie is a seaside city 200km North of Adelaide. It is the 3rd largest city outside of Adelaide with a strong sporting interest (offers almost every sport you can think of) with access to the amazing Flinders Ranges and Spencer Gulf.
