PRIVATE PRACTICE PHYSIOTHERAPY LOCUM POSITION

MID NORTH COAST NSW

Job Summary:

Great opportunity exists for a locum physiotherapist within a growing physiotherapy and allied health clinic. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, hands on physiotherapist who works well in a team environment. New graduate physios are welcome to apply. We are needing a locum physio for 4-6 months and an ongoing position is available for the right candidate.

 

Our practice is situated in Macksville on the beautiful mid north coast of NSW, mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane. We are located close to stunning beaches and close to countryside and rainforests. 

 

Our practice offers a wide range of services:

- Physiotherapy assessment and treatment

- Pilates group and private classes

- Hydrotherapy

- Community visits

- Womens health physio

- Paediatric physio

- Onsite gym with Pilates equipment

- NDIS provider

- Dietetic services

- Speech pathology

- Exercise physiology

- Remedial massage

- Podiatry services

- Audiology services

 

Main Duties include:

-Assessment and treatment of a range of musculoskeletal conditions

-Locum paediatric caseload available (if experienced)

-Option to instruct hydrotherapy and pilates classes (depending on experience and training)

-Exercise prescription in clinic and onsite gym

-Working closely with colleagues and other health professionals

-Community home visits

Skills required:

- Registration as a physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA) or eligibility to be registered.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Motivated, punctual and strong communication skills

- A love and passion for physiotherapy

- Current drivers licence accepted in NSW
