Our ethos is centred around providing a caring, patient-centred, evidence-based and professional approach to our patient management. We offer a range of healthcare services including physiotherapy, podiatry, sports chiropractic, remedial massage (and will also be expanding our team next year with occupational therapy).

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated, team-orientated and skilled physiotherapist to join our team at Gladesville Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about helping patients along the age spectrum (working with children right through to the elderly), and in particular would be ideal for a physiotherapist with 3-5+ years experience in private practice. The successful candidate will be a  comfortable communicator, sound diagnostician and is keen to work alongside our long standing team of evidence-based physiotherapists and sports chiropractors. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our current physiotherapist is retiring in mid-March 2024 and we are looking for someone to come on board as soon as possible with a guaranteed handover of patients. If the successful candidate is to come on board before March 2024 - it has been agreed with our current physiotherapist that there will be an early handover of physio patients before he moves on.

As a physiotherapist at Gladesville Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients' physical conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and functionality.
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques and exercises.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Work within a broader healthcare team of sports chiropractors, podiatrists and remedial massage therapists.

Requirements:

  • Australian-based Master's degree in Physiotherapy OR Doctor of Physiotherapy.
  • Valid AHPRA registration and insurance to practice as a physiotherapist.
  • Preferable 3-5+ years of experience in physiotherapy practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Flexible role: part-time (minimum 3 days), full-time or contractor (tiered, heavily incentivised scale). All staff are currently contractors, however we are open to discussing different options that work for both parties.
